Biography
My name is Dmitry Kozlovsky. I am married and have two wonderful sons.
I began my professional career back in 2004, as a third-year student at my first university. By the will of fate, I got an internship at the Belarusian IT company IBA, on its joint project with IBM. This was followed by 10 years of fruitful work at IBA. During this time, I managed to obtain a second higher education. I grew professionally to become a certified business analyst and administratively to become the head of a department with 25 employees.
Changing my job coincided with my thirtieth birthday and the birth of my first son. I was given the opportunity to lead an investment project aimed at creating a new commercial and industrial enterprise. Seeing this as a chance to break out of the routine of my 10-year career, I agreed. The enterprise was established, developed, and profitably sold after two years.
The next stage of my life took place in the city of Vladimir in the Russian Federation, where I spent almost 2.5 years as a project curator at one of the largest meat processing enterprises in Russia, Abi. My responsibilities initially included overseeing and controlling the IT project portfolio. Later, this expanded to include organizational development projects, and eventually all the company’s investment projects. At that point, I was in the role of acting head of the project office.
In 2018, Abi’s long-term development strategy included a significant reduction in the Project Office’s functions and their distribution among functional departments. Therefore, I decided to move on. I went into freelancing, where over 5 years of active work as a system analyst, a project and product manager, I completed more than 10 projects of various scopes and content.
